The D2 sensor provides a unique method in terms of external dimensions and electrode structure. The use of a high-capacity filter on the working electrode of carbon monoxide can completely eliminate the cross-sensitivity of the channel to hydrogen sulfide, acid gas and similar sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. The use of D2 series sensors in portable instrument design can use composite gases to achieve accurate factory-level maintenance-level and field-level calibration without worrying about incorrect adjustment of CO channels.
