ToughSonic 3 Ultrasonic sensorThe max range is 3 feet (91cm). The sensor is designed for applications where a larger max range and/or a wider ultrasonic beam ToughSonic 14 prevents its use. If your application can accept the operating parameters of ToughSonic 14, we recommend that you use it. If you need a smaller minimum range or a smaller ultrasonic beam size, then ToughSonic 3 is a good choice.

ToughSonic 3 has the same 30mm stainless steel housing as ToughSonic 14. It has a minimum range of 1.75 inches (4.5cm) and a narrow ultrasonic beam width for measuring in tight spaces. And, like all ToughSonic sensors, it is rugged and easy to use in harsh industrial environments. It can be completely submersible, corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, and tough. It can also be fully configured through our SenixVIEW software, or button-configurable with our famous "teaching" function.
